Emergency services were called to a scene in North Kilkenny after a man was reportedly threatening to burn down a house.
The incident happened at a house near Woodsgift at around 2am this morning.

KCLR News understands that a man was threatening to burn it down using petrol.
Two units of Freshford Fire Service were called to the scene at 2.30 but the situation was brought under control and Gardaí were notified.
No-one is believed to have been injured.
