A ‘meet and greet’ for the local Knitted Together 2 project takes place in Kilkenny City today.
The county council’s Arts Office is calling for people to get involved in the community knitting and crochet project.
Aims is to foster community spirit and connection by encouraging everyone to take part and create knitted blankets to donate to local charities.
From 10:30am this (Thursday) morning until 3pm people can find out more at the Kilkenny Farmer’s Market, on the Parade. With further social gatherings from 7pm on Thursday 8th July and 10:30am on Thursday 15th July, all facilitated by artist Carrie Lynam.
