It will strengthen the education system in Carlow.

That’s the opinion of Minister for Higher Education James Lawless, who was in the county this morning to meet the governing board of Carlow College.

The college is considering joining the South East Technological University.

Minister James Lawless told KCLR News that it’s a win-win situation for all involved.
