The warm weather’s continuing but it seems we’ll be a little cooler in the Carlow and Kilkenny areas than other parts of the country.
The latest Status Yellow high temperature alert from Met Éireann spans Mayo, Galway, Limerick, Cork and Kerry where temperatures are expected to exceed 27 degrees between now and Wednesday.
Added to that a separate heat advisory from Met Eireann continues nationwide until Friday.
Alan O’Reilly from Carlow Weather says; “We do have that Easterly breeze again today and tomorrow which will keep things a little bit cooler along the East coast but temperatures in the West getting up to 29 degrees again so we are looking at another warm, mainly dry week, there is a small chance of showers mainly in the South West on Wednesday and Thursday and that risk does continue but really most areas now will expect to stay largely dry and warm and sunny”.
