Carlow students chasing Formula 1 dream

A local school team are setting out their stall in Dublin’s RDS this morning.
‘Aero Racing’ from Muine Bheag Vocational School are competing in the finals of this year’s Formula 1 in Schools Technology Challenge.
The local team is made up of Ellen Gill, Zac Yongram, Conor O’Brien and Keith Hickey.

They’re part of 5 junior and 15 senior teams taking part today.
The winning teams will earn the ultimate prize: a chance to compete in the F1 in Schools World Finals in Austin, Texas, later this autumn.
