A new project has provided Carlow, Muine Bheag, and Tullow Fire Stations with three specially equipped Maxus 9 vans, designed to enhance their emergency response capabilities.
Supplied by Harris Group, the vans have been fitted out by HPMP Tullow to meet the specific needs of the fire service.
The new vehicles will serve as operational support units, providing vital resources and additional manpower in emergencies.
Each van is equipped with vehicle-mounted safety signs to offer advance warning to approaching traffic, ensuring safety at incident scenes.
In addition to improving safety, the vans will be used to transport additional firefighters and specialist equipment, enabling the fire stations to respond more effectively to emergencies across the region.
This investment is expected to significantly enhance the fire services’ ability to serve the local communities of Carlow, Muine Bheag, and Tullow.
