A new fire station for Graiguenamanagh has now moved one step closer.
The contract for building the station has been signed at Kilkenny County Council’s offices.
The current facility is more than sixty years old and back in September of 2016 McStan Construction in Kilkenny were appointed as the contractors on the new project.
Graiguenamanagh Councillor Peter Chap Cleere told KCLR News that the station should still be fully up and running before the end of this year.
