A new integrated plasterboard manufacturing facility is set to begin operations in Bellview Port, South Kilkenny, after receiving planning permission from local authorities.
GABM Limited, which first submitted plans for the facility in March 2024, is poised to bring significant economic growth to the region. The green light from planning officials is a major milestone for the project, which is expected to create jobs and boost local business.
Claire McInerney Brown, Vice President of the Kilkenny Chamber of Commerce, expressed her excitement over the development, calling it excellent news for Bellview and surrounding areas.
