The controversy over the proposed Barrow Tow-path continues with a report surfacing now that questions the suitability of the project.
A planning application is due to be lodged with Carlow county council shortly for the cycling track along the river which would stretch from St Mullins to Lowtown in Co Kildare.
A report written by a senior Kildare County Council civil engineer has now emerged – it suggests that most of the tow-path isn’t wide enough to accommodate two-way cycling.
