A Kilkenny school officially opens three new classrooms today.
St John of God National School on Upper New Street in the city built the new facilities last year and modernised the front of the school too.

Des Brennan from the Parents Council told KCLR news they have lined up a famous past pupil to cut the ribbon today.
Ciara Everard, who competed for Ireland at the Rio Games will be guest of honour for the official opening at 11.30am.
