One man arrested after stabbing in Waterford in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday)

A man in his 40’s has been arrested after a man was stabbed in Waterford.

It happened at Ballybeg in the city at around 1.30 am Wednesday morning.

The victim, who is also in his 40’s, was taken to Waterford University Hospital for treatment.

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
