Opening details revealed for major Kilkenny tourist site

The local attraction was closed in 2019 as a result of rock fall

Dunmore Caves could be reopened to the public in a matter of weeks. The popular tourist attraction was closed in 2019 as a result of rock fall and since then major works have taken place to stabilize the site and ensure the health and safety of visitors.

Before its closure the caves recorded tourism figures of up to 40,000 annual visitors.
