Pat Deering: Agri-food trade is key to Ireland’s contingency planning following BREXIT

Fine Gael TD Pat Deering has issued a release saying that the Agri-food trade is central to Ireland’s contingency planning in the wake of BREXIT.

The Carlow man is chair of the Oireachtas Committee on Agriculture, food and the marine.

He says a dedicated unit has been established in the department of Agriculture to work on the relevant issues.

And, that Bord Bia’s London office will immediately engage with Ireland’s leading customers across the UK.
