Patrick McKee says it was ‘sad’ for RENUA to lose their leader Lucinda Creighton

Kilkenny Renua Councillor Patrick McKee has told KCLR news that Lucinda Creightons decision to step down as leader of the party was ‘sad’

The former Fine Gael Junior Minister announced her decision at a members meeting of the party in Portlaoise yesterday afternoon.

This news comes just 14 months after the party was established – and Councillor McKee says the party have achieved a lot in that short space of time.

Speaking to KCLR following yesterday’s meeting, Patrick says it was a ‘sad’ day for Renua.
