Ann Mulrooney was born and reared in Clara, Co. Kilkenny, and studied at the Crawford Gallery, Cork, following which she spent a number of years as an award winning artist in England and back home in Ireland.
In recent years she’s moved from sculpture to curating and is now manager and curator of the National Craft Gallery which this year celebrates 50 years of craft and design as part of the IDEATE festival.
