Fergus Keane was born and reared in the “Rebel Liberties” of Dublin as he says himself. He served his time as a Fitter/Turner but volunteered in his late teens with the homeless charity Simon and has been involved directly or indirectly in services for homeless people in Dublin, in Cork and, for the last number of years, in Kilkenny.
He is manager of the Good Shepherd Centre in Kilkenny, and, along with a hard working team provides services for men who by a variety of circumstances find themselves homeless. He has a strong view of how these services should be run as you’ll hear and has
an interesting choice of music. [wp_media media=”audio” volume=0.8 urls=”https://kclr96fm.com/media/PIP121118_FergusKeane_Full.mp3″]
