Popular County Kilkenny attraction Dunmore Caves reopen to the public from today (Friday)
Ministers of State Patrick O'Donovan and Malcolm Noonan were on site yesterday

Dunmore Caves is back open to the public from today (Friday).
The County Kilkenny amenity, which attracts about 37,000 people each year, had to close in March 2020 due to a combination of slight rockfalls and the Covid pandemic.
€700,000 has been spent on it since then and Minister of State with responsibility for the OPW which oversees the site, Patrick O’Donovan, told our reporter Martin Quilty that monies like that are well spent.
Hear Martin’s conversation with Ministers of State Patrick O’Donovan and Malcolm Noonan as well as Deputy John McGuinness here;
While Martin also heard from a neighbour, a tour guide and one of those who worked on the project;
