The legacy of President John F Kennedy will once again be honoured in our region when the 2026 Kennedy Summer School takes place in New Ross.
Politics, current affairs, music, literature and sport will all be debated in New Ross between August the 26th and 29th, with Saint Michael’s Theatre once again providing the primary base for this year’s event.
Broadcaster Pat Kenny will be interviewed about his lengthy career for this year’s Noel Whelan Interview, while fellow journalist Lara Marlowe will reflect on a career which has taken her to Washington and Paris, along with many warzones around the world.
Bob Dylan’s career during the Kennedy era will be up for a discussion during a discussion featuring Hot Press founder Niall Stokes, while Michael Duignan and Ursula Jacob will feature on a sports panel.
Meanwhile, Ireland South MEP Cynthia Ni Mhurchu will join Wicklow TD Edward Timmins on an Irish politics panel which will be chaired by Mark Hennessy. The full programme will be available from 11am this morning – you’ll get the update here.
