Rathvilly Community Centre will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) this evening at 7:30 PM in Lawlor’s Bar, with all members of the community invited to attend.
The primary focus of the meeting will be the planned renovation of the cherished Phoenix Centre in the town. The government has already allocated €2 million for the project, but additional funds will need to be raised through various fundraising efforts to cover the full cost.
Cllr Brian O’Donoghue, who serves as secretary of the Rathvilly Community Centre Committee, expressed his optimism that the renovated Phoenix Centre will become a dynamic and multifunctional space that will serve the needs of the entire community for years to come.
