It’s emerged that residents of St Patrick’s centre in Kilkenny stayed in the South East foster home at the centre of the ‘Grace Case’.
Management at the Centre has confirmed to KCLR news that a number of former and current residents availed of respite breaks there – however none of them attended there since the early 1990’s.
A statement says there are no known specific concerns for any of these Residents and the HSE has been in ongoing contact with the families involved.
Some families have accepted and others declined meetings with the HSE to discuss the recent reports.
All families have been provided with copies of the reports while ‘Easy Read’ Copies are available to Residents.
Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT) Staff are available to support Residents, families and staff as appropriate.
