A route in south Kilkenny’s been closed following a ‘serious crash’.
The single-car incident happened on the old road between Knockmoylan and Mullinavat at Lukeswell Bridge this morning.

Emergency services are at the scene and expect to remain so for a number of hours – motorists are asked to avoid the area.

It follows a crash on the M9 southbound between junction 10 Knocktopher and junction 11 Mullinavat through Lukeswell between yesterday (Sunday) afternoon at about 4pm which saw two people taken to University Hospital Wateford with non-life-threatening injuries.
