The wave of shop closure in Kilkenny City is continuing.
Ryan’s XL on Ormonde street – across from the Ormonde hotel – is the latest to announce that it’s being forced to shut its doors.

This follows the loss of “Roots and Fruits” and Aubergine on Easter Saturday, along with Mr. Simms in Market Cross.
Eurospar on High Street also shut up shop last month along with a host of other recent closures.
Local Cllr Malcolm Noonan says this will continue unless major changes are brought in to aid local retailers and rejuvenate our town centres
