Search called off after remains of missing Carlow woman found

The search for a missing Carlow woman has been stood down after a body was found.

Gardaí, the fire service and sub aqua teams joined local volunteers from the town in the bid to locate Kathleen Lawlor who went missing on Tuesday morning.

KCLR understands that the 58-year-old’s body has been recovered from the river in Graiguecullen and has now been removed from the scene.
