Significant rise in local house prices according to latest report

House prices in Carlow and Kilkenny have increased in the past year at a higher rate than the national average.

The average asking price in Kilkenny stands now at 165 thousand euro according to Daft.ie latest report – that’s a 16% rise on a year ago.

In Carlow its up 10% to 142 thousand euro

The national average increase was just 1.9%.
