South Kilkenny Councillor says road realignment needed on ‘treacherous’ stretch

Another South Kilkenny councillor is calling for a road she’s described as “treacherous” to be realigned.

Fidelis Doherty will bring the motion in relation to a 500 metre stretch near Listerlin, known as Mullinaharrigle, before today’s Piltown district meeting.

Speaking to KCLR News, she says something has to be done about it as a number of cars have already come a cropper on those roads, and that the farmer whose land would be affected has already agreed.

Councillor Doherty told KCLR News a number of cars have come a cropper on those bends.
