Mullinavat remains a “no man’s and no woman’s land” when it comes to public transport according to a local Councillor.

Jenny Catt Slattery says better bus services are urgently needed to connect the village with Waterford and Kilkenny cities.

She says existing offerings show people will use public transport when it’s available, and is urging continued pressure on the NTA for improved routes and timetables.

Cllr Catt-Slattery told KCLR News’ Dermot Keyes that people of the area want increased services;
