St. Mary’s Medieval Mile Museum could be open by the end of the year.
The matter was discussed at Kilkenny County Council yesterday where a cost of 6 million was given for the project, nearly 4 million of that by Failte Ireland.
Kilkenny City Trust are to take on the management of what’s been termed as a potential jewel of Kilkenny Heritage when it opens.
It’s expected to attract over 40 thousand visitors a year.
