A steering group’s to be set up to drive the progress of a number of sub-projects tied into the North Quays development on the Waterford / South Kilkenny border.

Over €200million’s being invested into the public realm infrastructure with transport bridge and hub.

Kilkenny County Council Director of Services Sean McKeown says agreement’s been made with counterparts in Waterford and the Department to set up a team to oversee four elements that are funded under the North Quays URDF scheme.
