Stretch of busy Carlow road remains closed

A busy stretch of road in Carlow continues to be closed today for maintenance works due to flooding.

Carpenters Way was a no-go area yesterday between the junction at the Burrin Road roundabout to the roundabout at Éire Óg GAA club.

Residents and those who normally use the route are advised to plan their journey accordingly taking into account possible delays until at least 5pm.
