Stretch of road closed following North Kilkenny road crash

Emergency services are at the scene of a crash on the Urlingford road from Freshford

It happened shortly after 9am. It’s believed a car overturned in the area between Delaneys bar and Woodsgift service station.

It’s not known yet if anyone was seriously injured but Fire & Ambulance services attended the scene.

3 school buses were among the traffic delayed following the accident. Cars were forced to divert and use alternative routes in the area after emergency services closed the road there.
