Students urged not to panic as CAO deadline looms

Don’t panic is the main message for local students ahead of the CAO deadline this evening.

Today is the final day for leaving cert students and others applying through the CAO to have their initial applications for third level in.

Tens of thousands are expected to register on the website before this evening’s 5.15pm deadline.

A change of mind form can be submitted up until July.

Seventy five thousand people went through the central applications office last year and it’s believed even more may apply this time.
