A teenager has died after a car crash in Carlow in the early hours of this morning.
Four other teenagers – who were passengers – were injured in the single-vehicle collision that happened in the vicinity of Nine Stones shortly after 5 o’clock this morning.

The male driver who was 16, was pronounced dead after the car ran into a low wall.
One of the four passengers is said to be in a serious condition in hosptital.
Gardaí are looking for anyone who may have seen a black saloon car driving in that area to come forward.
That road up to Nine Stones and Mount Leinster is to remain closed for most of today as a Forensic Examination takes place.
