It’s been confirmed that a man has died in a house fire in County Kildare.
Gardaí were called to the scene at around six o’clock yesterday (Monday) on Togher Road in Monasterevin.

There, a man aged in his fifties was found dead.
His body has been removed from the scene for a post mortem exam.
