The man who died in yesterday’s road crash in Carlow has been named

He died following a two vehicle collision on the N80 at Graiguenaspiddeog

The man killed in a County Carlow road crash yesterday morning’s been named locally.

He was William Power Junior of Kilbranish, Bunclody, a married man and Dad to one child.

His car was in collision with a truck on the N80 at about 6:30am. GardaĆ­ continue to seek witnesses to that incident, in particular a cyclist who was in the area at the time.

Funeral details have yet to be announced for Mr Power but those impacted by his death are advised donations can be made in his name to an animal charity of their choice.
