Ash Delaney of Equal Vibes, a community-focused initiative dedicated to empowering people of all abilities through music and inclusive events. She spoke with Edward about AbleFest x TradFest, happening in Dublin at the National Stadium on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th, which will feature workshops, performance in specialized, fully accessible in a sensory friendly environment.
The Kilquan Players dropped in speak about their upcoming theatre production: “Who’s Been Sleeping In My Bed”, starting at the end of the month in Coon, Kilkenny.
The Blackwater Valley Opera Festival takes place soon and tickets are now available. Festival Director Eamonn Carroll joined Edward to tell him about the 2026 programme and their ambitions to show emerging Irish talent, along with established international artist, and Eamonn spoke their hopes that the festival will deliver memorable experiences for patrons and make Opera accessible to all.
Ian Brennan of the Clubhouse Hotel dropped in to tell Edward about the major building work under to transform this historic and legendary Kilkenny business. Work has been completed across the rooms and kitchen with state of the start catering equipment, all done to refurbish to today’s standards while keeping it’s vintage charm. They are fully open this weekend and are excited to welcome everyone.
Last but not least, Mags Whitely and Philip Hardy of the Barn Owl players joined Edward to chat about their upcoming production of the iconic JB Keane play “Big Maggie”, coming to the Thomastown Concert Hall in the 19th, 20th and 21st of February.
