A man was arrested in Kilkenny City this morning in relation to the theft of beer kegs.
Last Thursday two pubs on Rose Inn Street had kegs stolen from outside their premises early in the morning.
Yesterday Gardaí issued an appeal on KCLR about the thefts and said a white van had also been seen in the area at the time.
At about 6.45 this morning a man was arrested by Kilkenny Gardaí and he’s currently being detained at the local Garda Station and a white Citroen van was seized.
The man is being held under section 4 of the criminal justice act 1984.
