Tinryland and Palatine served up a thriller in the opening round of the junior football ‘C’ championship last night.
Palatine led by twelve points after twenty minutes, and by half time the margin was 3-7 to 6 points.
But Tinryland turned it around in the second half outscoring Palatine 2-9 to 1-2 and it finished all square in the end.
Final score Tinryland 2-15 Palatine 4-9.
Elsewhere Ballon had a big win 6-18 to 0-4 over Old Leighlin, and Fenagh had a goal to spare over Ballinabranna. That finished Fenagh 2-11 Ballinabranna 1-11
