Traffic at standstill around the Dublin Road Roundabout on Kilkenny Ring Road following incident
It's not yet known if anybody's been injured
Motorists in Kilkenny are being asked to avoid the Ring Road stretch between the Dublin and Bennettsbridge roads.
Just before 4pm a lorry and car appear to have collided coming off the Dublin Road Roundabout heading towards the works at Ossory Bridge.
It means traffic coming from either side of the Dublin Road as well as the M9 side of the Ring Road have no access to the Bennettsbridge Road Roundabout.
Gardaí are aware.
It’s not yet known if anybody’s been injured.
