The two-car crash occurred on the Dublin Road in Kilkenny, just outside Freshco Pharmacy this lunchtime.
The crash has caused significant traffic buildup in both directions approaching the Dublin road.

It is unkown at this time if there are any injuries.
Motorists were advised to avoid the area if possible as traffic continued to be congested along the stretch of road.
Emergency Services were on the scene pretty quickly and the area is now cleared.
