The Transport Minister Shane Ross is to visit the Piltown Bypass on the N24 following an invite from local TD John McGuinness.
The stretch which opened back in 2002 has claimed numerous lives and has been described by the local priest as “the valley of death”.

The most recent death was that of Denis Walsh who lost his life at Tower Junction.
Deputy McGuinness says it’s a disaster of a road.
