8 travel agents from Australia and New Zealand have made a fact- finding visit to Kilkenny this week.
The group were winners of a competition run in conjunction with Emirates, during Tourism Ireland’s sales mission ‘Down Under’ in late 2016.

The 8 were guests of Tourism Ireland and Failte Ireland and were here to experience first-hand what Kilkenny and Ireland’s Ancient East have to offer for holidaymakers from Australia and New Zealand.
They got a guided tour of Jerpoint Park, a walking tour of Kilkenny city and a visit to the newly opened Medieval Mile Museum. They also enjoyed lunch in the Kilkenny Design Centre, dinner in Zuni and an overnight stay in the Kilkenny River Court Hotel.
