Rugby fans are being given the chance to sympathise with the family of Anthony Foley, as books of condolence open today.
Local authorities across Munster will provide the facility, and fly the Irish flag at half mast outside their offices.
42 year old Anthony was found dead at the Munster team hotel in Paris yesterday, after travelling ahead of a match in the city that was later postponed.
Kilkenny Rugby Club manager, Packie Hennebry says he’ll be a huge loss to the world of sport.
Speaking to KCLR News this morning, Packie says the former Ireland captain had been in Kilkenny just last week to celebrate team-mate Mick Galwey’s 50th birthday.
He says he spoke to Anthony at that party and he was in flying form.
Kilkenny Rugby Club have expressed their condolences to Anthony Foley’s family.
