Irish households are expected to consume almost seven million potatoes this Christmas, but turkey is the favourite part of Christmas dinner.
Almost a third of 1,000 people surveyed by Tesco said they preferred turkey over stuffing and roast spuds.
47% said the festive meal is their favourite part of Christmas.
