Two Arrested for Reckless Driving in Carlow

Gardaí in Carlow have arrested four individuals in connection with reckless driving after a series of dangerous maneuvers on Tuesday night.

The motorists were seen driving erratically around 10 p.m. on a route that included Liberty Tree, Tullow Street, Dublin Street, and down towards the courthouse, before fleeing via the Old Dublin Road. During the incident, the drivers destroyed a significant amount of plants and bedding in the area.

This morning An Garda Síochána excuted two search warrants on properties in the Carlow area where items were seized.

Superintendent Anthony Farrell has appealed to anyone with information or dashcam footage of the incident to come forward and contact Carlow Garda Station.
