Two Kilkenny schools are set to have work done.
Clara National School is to get an additional classroom with funding from the Accommodation & Emergency Works scheme.
The growing school, just outside Kilkenny City, is to get an 80m squared extension, and will also receive funding for an additional en suite toilet.
The department of education also confirmed that funding is to also going to be provided for emergency mechanical works at St John of God’s Girls Primary School.
