Geodirectory’s latest house vacancy survey reveals that Carlow and Kilkenny have among the lowest vacancy rates in the country.
Carlow stands at just 2.5%, while Kilkenny follows closely with 3%. Both counties are below the national average of 3.8%, with Dublin having the lowest at 1.2%.
In contrast, Leitrim has the highest vacancy rate at 11.8%.
Geodirectory CEO Dara Keogh, speaking to KCLR News, noted that the modest vacancy rates in Carlow and Kilkenny will help maintain stable property prices in these areas.
