Vandals have struck again at Carlow’s town park in Graiguecullen causing it to be shut down for a second time in less than a week.
Carlow County Council has confirmed that the park has had to close while repairs are being carried out in the playground.

The facility had only re-opened on Friday after repairs to the stairs of the slide were completed.
However, KCLR understands, the park had to be shut down again this morning as the same area was damaged yet again.
Councillor Ken Murnane believes monitored CCTV is the only answer.
