Veterinary Clinic in Johnstown targeted by burglars
Local GardaĆ are looking for your help in finding three men who are believed to have been connected with a burglary on Friday last.
At around 7.15 on Friday morning, a farmer in Borrisbeg, Urlingford discovered that the outer gate to his farmyard had its lock cut and a vehicle in the yard had been interfered with.
Nothing was taken but GardaĆ believe this was related to another incident which occurred in the early hours of that morning – at around 1.35 – when the Veterinary Clinic in Johnstown was broken into.
The alarm did go off but by the time the key holder got there, the front door had been forced in, a side window was broken and worm doses for horses along with other animal medicines had been taken.
Sergeant Catherine O’Gorman told KCLR that a number of men were spotted in the area and they’re anxious to hear from anyone with any information.
