Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow rain and wind warning for parts of the country this weekend.
The rain warning will come into effect from 9am on Sunday morning for Carlow, Kilkenny, Wicklow, Cork, Waterford and Wexford.
With the yellow wind warning coming into effect from 3pm tomorrow for counties Waterford, Wexford and Wicklow.
Meteorologist with Met Eireann, Linda Hughes, describes what conditions are in store for the counties affected tomorrow: It will be very wet and blustery from tomorrow morning. It wil move into the south and spread across the country. The rain and winds will be havy and gusty and this may cause travel disruptions.”
