Welcome for news that three road upgrades in Kilkenny and Carlow to progress, but concern expressed re timelines

The chair of a local road safety group has welcomed Government’s announcement that the N25 development is to progress.

Upgrades to the Waterford to Glenmore stretch as well as the N24 Waterford to Cahir and the Carlow Southern Relief route were all among projects confirmed yesterday by Transport Minister Darragh O’Brien.

Bernie Mullally of the N25 Road safety group told KCLR News that while a commitment had been given, it’s great to see it officially on paper;
